"Feeder Race"

In her first race gusto got off to a bad start. Then the wind went light which doesn't favor heavy displacement. We looked around and we were in last place. Then the leaders sailed into a hole, we saw it and tacked over to the Vinalhaven shore never losing the breeze. Gusto sailed right around the entire fleet and in this painting she's the most hated yacht on Penobscot Bay, but by God her crew are laughing!
